## What to include

A useful first message says what the business does, roughly how many people work in it, and which part of the operation is causing the most friction right now. That is enough to say whether there is likely to be something worth doing, and it saves a discovery call that would only establish the same facts.

If the answer is that AutoSpark is not the right fit, that gets said in the first reply rather than after three meetings.


## What happens next

A first reply usually comes within one working day. If the shape of the problem looks like something the method can help with, the next step is a conversation about which people would need to be interviewed and over what period. Nothing is quoted before that conversation, because a quote written before the interviews is a guess with a number on it.
